Set Up Your Testlify Workspace

Before you begin

To complete this setup, you will need:

  • A valid business email address
  • Your company logo and brand colors (optional, for workspace customization)

1. Set up your account

Step 1 β€” Visit Testlify

Go to https://app.testlify.com and click Try for free.

Step 2 β€” Choose how to register

You can either:

  • Fill in your First name, Last name, Business email, and Phone number, or
  • Sign up instantly using Google or Microsoft single sign-on.

Step 3 β€” Verify and start your trial

After verification, you will be redirected to your workspace and start your 7-day free trial with 50 candidate credits.

2. Add your team members

Step 1 β€” Open Settings

  1. Click the gear icon βš™οΈ at the top right.
  2. Go to Settings β†’ Users.

Step 2 β€” Invite new users

  1. Click the Add button at the top right.
  2. Enter one or more email addresses.
  3. Select a role: Admin or Member.
  4. Click Add user to send invitations.

Step 3 β€” Manage roles

To change a user's access level:

  1. Click the β‹― menu next to their name.
  2. Choose Change role or Deactivate.

Roles explained:

  • Admin: Can manage users, billing, and settings.
  • Member: Can create and manage assessments and candidates.

3. Customize your brand

Make your workspace reflect your company identity.

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Branding.
  2. Upload your Company logo, Favicon, and optional Welcome image.
  3. Choose your Brand color and Text color.
  4. Click Save, then Preview to confirm the changes.

4. Create an assessment

Assess candidates in minutes with AI-powered tests.

  1. From the dashboard, click Create assessment.
  2. Choose a role or template.
  3. Add or remove skills and adjust difficulty.
  4. Set up candidate invitations.
  5. Click Launch to publish your assessment.

5. Duplicate an assessment

Save time by cloning an existing test setup.

  1. Go to the Assessments tab.
  2. Click the β‹― menu next to an existing test.
  3. Select Make a copy.
  4. Rename and customize as needed.

6. Download invoices

Access your billing history at any time.

  1. Open Settings β†’ Billing.
  2. Select Invoices to view or download past bills.
