How to Copy an Assessment in Testlify

The Make a Copy feature in Testlify duplicates an existing assessment — including its tests, custom questions, and advanced settings — so you can quickly create a variation without starting from scratch.

How to Copy an Assessment

1. Navigate to the Assessments tab in your Testlify account.
2. Locate the assessment you want to copy.

3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the assessment row.

   

4. Select Make a copy from the dropdown menu.

   

   

What Happens Next

Testlify creates a duplicate that appears at the top of your Assessments list. The copy is automatically named Copy of [original assessment name].

What Gets Copied

• All tests you previously selected
• All custom questions
• All advanced settings

Tip: Rename the copy immediately after creating it so it is easy to distinguish from the original.
