How to View Session Recordings in Testlify

Testlify's proctoring feature records each candidate's session so you can review their activity and maintain assessment integrity. Follow the steps below to access a session recording.

Before you begin

Make sure proctoring is enabled on the assessment. If session recording is not turned on, no recordings will be available for that assessment's candidates.

Steps to view a session recording

1. Log in to your workspace

   Go to app.testlify.com and sign in with your email and OTP.

   

2. Open the assessment

   From the dashboard, select the assessment whose session recordings you want to review.

   

3. Select the candidate

   Click the candidate's name to open their report.

   

4. Go to the Proctoring section

   Scroll down the candidate's report page to the Proctoring section.

   

5. Click the Session Recording tab

   Inside the Proctoring section, click the Session Recording tab.

   

6. Watch the recording

   Click View Video to play the session recording and review the candidate's activity during the assessment.

   

Frequently asked questions

• Can I download the session recording?
  No. Recordings can only be viewed online within the platform. Downloading is not supported.

• How long are session recordings kept?
  Recordings are available for 60 days from the assessment date.

• What if I can't find the session recording?
  Contact support@testlify.com for assistance.
