Camera Recording During Assessments

Testlify’s Camera Recording feature allows you to record the candidate’s webcam activity throughout the assessment.

This helps you review the candidate’s activity during the entire assessment session.

How Camera Recording Works

When Camera Recording is enabled, the candidate’s webcam will record their activity for the entire duration of the assessment.

The recording starts when the candidate begins the assessment and continues until the assessment is completed.

You can access and review the camera recording from the candidate’s assessment results.

Enable Camera Recording

To enable camera recording:

1. Go to Assessment Settings.
2. Open the Proctoring tab.
3. Enable Camera Recording.
4. Save your changes.

Once enabled, candidates will be required to allow camera access before starting the assessment.

Show Camera Preview to Candidates

You can also allow candidates to see their own camera preview while taking the assessment.

To enable this:

1. Go to Assessment Settings.
2. Open the Proctoring tab.
3. Under Camera Recording, select Preview Check.
4. Save your changes.

When Preview Check is enabled, candidates will be able to see their camera preview throughout the assessment while their webcam recording is active.
