How to Edit an Assessment in Testlify

Before you begin

You need an active Testlify account with permission to manage assessments. Log in at app.testlify.com before starting.

Edit an assessment

  1. Log in to your Testlify workspace. All your assessments appear on the dashboard.

  2. Find the assessment you want to update. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to it, then select Edit.

  3. On the Setup Assessment page, use the four tabs to make your changes:

    • Basic — Update the assessment name.

    • Test — Add or remove tests from Testlify's library of 1,800+ assessments. Search by name, or filter by skill, job role, or difficulty level.

    • Question — Add custom questions for role-specific or scenario-based evaluation.

    • Setting — Configure time limits, proctoring, and other assessment options.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

Tip: Use the Preview option to check the candidate experience before sending new invitations.
