How to Download the System Requirement Report in Testlify

The System Requirement Report allows you to download detailed technical information about a candidate’s system setup at the time they attempted an assessment. This report is useful for validation, audits, and troubleshooting candidate issues.

⚠️ The System Requirement Report is available only when the System Requirement Check is enabled for the assessment.

Prerequisite: Enable System Requirement Check

Before a report can be generated, ensure that System Requirement Check is enabled for the assessment:

  1. Open the assessment and click Edit.
  2. Go to Settings → Proctoring.
  3. Enable System requirement check.
  4. Click Save.

How to Download the System Requirement Report

Once candidates have attempted the assessment:

  1. Navigate to Assessments and open the relevant assessment.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Download system requirement report.
  4. The report will be downloaded as a CSV file.

What Information is Included in the Report?

The System Requirement Report typically includes:

  • Candidate email address
  • Attempt number
  • System check status (Pass/Fail)
  • Operating system & version
  • Processor details
  • Memory (RAM)
  • Internet type and speed
  • Monitor configuration
  • Audio input/output status
  • Restricted applications (if detected)

Each row in the report represents a candidate attempt.

When is This Report Useful?

  • Investigating candidate-reported technical issues
  • Verifying system compliance before reviewing results
  • Internal audits or quality checks
  • Sharing technical evidence with stakeholders

Important Notes

  • The report will not be generated if the System Requirement Check was disabled during the candidate’s attempt.
  • Only attempts made after enabling the System Requirement Check will appear in the report.
  • Pricing for system checks applies as configured in the Proctoring settings.
