How to Manage Details in a Candidate Report

Here is a support article on how to create an assessment.

Testlify allows you to customize the details included in a candidate report. This gives you full control over what information is shared when reports are sent internally or externally.

Follow the steps below to configure the report settings based on your preferences.

Step 1: Navigate to Assessment Settings

1. Log in to your Testlify account.
2. Click on the Assessments tab in the top menu.
3. Select the assessment you want to configure.
4. In the left sidebar, click Settings.

Step 2: Open the 'Report' Tab

Once in the Settings section, click the Report tab at the top. This tab controls what will appear in the candidate report shared via link or PDF download.

⚠️ These settings apply only to the shareable link and assessment-level reports—not the internal view within the platform.

Step 3: Configure What to Show in the Report

Here’s a breakdown of each option available:

✅Show assessment overview

Displays a brief summary of the assessment’s purpose and structure.

✅Show the candidate’s information details

Includes personal details like name and email.

• Show hidden information: Also includes custom fields or hidden data if previously enabled.

✅Show candidate AI insights 🔮

Adds AI-generated insights about the candidate’s performance, behavior, or tendencies.

✅ Show AI suggested interview questions

Includes AI-recommended interview questions tailored to the candidate’s performance.

✅ Show performance analytics data

Displays statistics such as scores, percentiles, and performance trends.

✅ Show assessment summary

Provides a general overview of the candidate's performance across the entire assessment.

✅ Show test section

Enables detailed breakdowns at the test level.

• Show questions asked within the test

  • Shows all test questions presented to the candidate.

    If enabled, sub-options appear:

    • Show correct answers: Displays the correct answers (unchecked by default).
    • Show AI insights 🔮: AI-generated feedback per test question.
    • Pronunciation insights: Adds pronunciation evaluation (if applicable).

Shows insights for individual questions across the assessment.

✅ Show proctoring information & violations

Displays webcam/mic activity and flagged violations detected during the test.

Step 4: Save Your Settings

Once you've selected the relevant options:

1. Scroll to the bottom.
2. Click the Save button.

Your selections will be reflected in all future candidate reports for this assessment.
