How to Manage Details in a Candidate Report
Here is a support article on how to create an assessment.
Testlify allows you to customize the information included in the candidate report. This gives you full control over which details are shared when you send reports internally or externally.
Follow the steps below to configure the report settings based on your preferences.
Step 1: Navigate to Assessment Settings
- Log in to your Testlify account.
- Click on the Assessments tab in the top menu.
- Select the assessment you want to update.
- In the left sidebar, click on Settings.
Step 2: Open the 'Report' Tab
Once in the Settings section, go to the top menu and click on the Report tab. This section allows you to configure what information will be included in the candidate report shared via link or downloaded.
Note: These settings apply only to the shareable link and assessment-level candidate report, not the internal view within the platform.
Step 3: Choose What Information to Show or Hide
Below is a description of each available option and what it controls in the candidate report:
Show assessment overview
Displays a brief summary of the assessment’s purpose and structure.
Show the candidate's information details
Displays personal details such as name and email.
Show hidden information
Includes any hidden candidate fields that were previously marked during assessment setup.
Show candidate AI insights
Adds AI-generated insights about the candidate's performance, behavior, or tendencies.
Show performance analytics data
Displays data such as score distributions, percentile ranks, and other performance-related insights.
Show assessment summary
Presents a general overview of how the candidate performed overall.
Show test section
Enables detailed insights at the test level. If this is checked, the following sub-options appear:
- a. Show questions asked within the test: Displays each question that was presented.
- b. Show correct answers: Indicates the correct answers for those questions.
- c. Show AI insights: Shows AI-based evaluation for each question.
- d. Show AI interpretation: Provides AI-generated analysis of responses (if applicable).
Show question section
Shows detailed information about the individual questions attempted.
- a. Show correct answers: Displays which answers were correct.
- b. Show AI insights: Includes AI-generated insights per question.
Show proctoring information & violations
Displays any information collected through proctoring, such as camera activity, microphone usage, and flagged violations during the test.
Show status logs
Shows candidate interaction logs such as time spent, navigation behavior, and other technical activity throughout the assessment.
Step 4: Save the Settings
After selecting or deselecting the options according to your requirements:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the red Save button.
These changes will now be reflected in all candidate reports generated for that specific assessment.
