How to Download Candidate Feedback from Testlify

Testlify lets you export candidate feedback so your team can evaluate assessment experiences, track ratings, and make data-driven hiring decisions. This guide walks you through downloading feedback for any assessment in your workspace.

Before you begin

Make sure you have:

• An active Testlify workspace with Admin or Manager access.
• At least one published assessment that candidates have completed and submitted feedback for.

Steps to download candidate feedback

1. Log in to your Testlify account at app.testlify.com using your registered email and OTP.
   
2. From the dashboard, click Analytics in the left navigation.
   
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Analytics page to reach the Feedback download section.
   
4. Use the Assessment dropdown to select the assessment whose feedback you want to download.
   
5. Set the From and To dates to filter candidates by assessment completion date.
   
6. Click Download. The report downloads as a .csv, .xlsx, or .json file — choose the format that best suits your reporting tools.
   

Tip: Open the .csv or .xlsx file in Excel or Google Sheets to filter by rating, sort by completion date, and share results with your hiring team.

What the downloaded report contains

Each row in the report represents one candidate and includes the following fields:

• Candidate Name — Full name of the candidate who completed the assessment.
• Rating out of 5 — The candidate's star rating for the assessment experience, if they chose to provide one.
• Candidate Feedback — Written comments submitted by the candidate at the end of the assessment.
• Completed Date and Time — The exact timestamp when the candidate finished the assessment.
