How to Download Candidate Feedback from Testlify

Testlify lets you export candidate feedback so your team can evaluate assessment experiences, track ratings, and make data-driven hiring decisions.

Before you begin

• You need Admin or Manager access in your Testlify workspace.
• At least one assessment must have been completed by candidates who submitted feedback.

Steps to download candidate feedback

1. Log in to your Testlify account at app.testlify.com.
   
2. Click Analytics in the left navigation.
   
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Analytics page to find the Feedback section.
   
4. Use the Assessment dropdown to select the assessment whose feedback you want.
   
5. Set the From and To dates to filter by candidate completion date.
   
6. Click Download and choose your preferred format: .csv, .xlsx, or .json.
   

Tip: Open the .csv or .xlsx file in Excel or Google Sheets to filter by rating, sort by completion date, and share results with your hiring team.

What the report contains

Each row represents one candidate and includes:

• Candidate Name — Full name of the candidate.
• Rating out of 5 — Star rating for the assessment experience (if provided).
• Candidate Feedback — Written comments submitted at the end of the assessment.
• Completed Date and Time — Timestamp when the candidate finished.

The file downloads successfully, but feedback fields will be blank for candidates who did not respond.

Can I view feedback without downloading?
Yes — candidate feedback is also visible directly within the Testlify platform. Download when you need to share results externally or include them in reports.
