Understanding Your Workspace Limits in Testlify
Testlify enforces default usage limits across the platform to maintain performance and ensure a consistent experience for all users. This article covers every limit category, explains when limits reset, and walks you through requesting a custom limit increase when your organization needs one.
Platform Usage Limits
Assessments
- Daily limit: Up to 100 assessments can be created per day.
- Monthly limit: Up to 1,000 assessments can be created per month.
Company Tests
- Daily limit: Up to 100 company tests can be created per day.
- Monthly limit: Up to 1,000 company tests can be created per month.
Candidate Invites
- Daily limit: Up to 3,000 candidate invites can be sent per day.
- Monthly limit: Up to 20,000 candidate invites can be sent per month.
Bulk Candidate Invites
- Per-upload limit: Up to 600 candidates per bulk upload.
Tip: To invite more than 600 candidates in one go, repeat the bulk upload process multiple times. Each upload counts toward your daily limit of 3,000 invites, so plan your uploads accordingly.
Questions and Answer Options
- Questions per assessment: Up to 100 questions.
- Answer options per assessment: Up to 5,000 total answer options across all questions.
Free Trial
- Candidate invites: Up to 10 candidates total during the free trial period.

When Limits Reset
- Daily limits reset every 24 hours.
- Monthly limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.
Free Trial Restrictions
Free trial accounts are capped at 10 candidate invites to ensure fair usage while giving you a meaningful preview of the platform. Once you upgrade to a paid plan, you gain access to the standard daily and monthly invite limits.
How to Request Higher Limits
If your organization's hiring volume exceeds the default limits, you can request a custom increase. Contact the support team:

- Provide your workspace name and the specific limit you need increased.
- The team will review your request and apply the necessary changes to your workspace.
