The Location Tracking feature in Testlify helps ensure the integrity of assessments by tracking the candidate's location during the assessment. Follow these steps to enable Location Tracking for your assessments
Steps to Enable Location Tracking:
Create or Edit an Assessment
Navigate to the assessment you want to create or edit.
Go to the Proctoring Settings
In the assessment settings, click on the Proctoring tab.
Enable Location Tracking
Under the proctoring options, you will find a checkbox for Location Tracking.
Check the box to enable this feature.
Save Changes
After enabling Location Tracking, save your changes.
What Happens Next:
Once the Location Tracking option is enabled, the candidate’s location will be recorded during the assessment.
The tracked location will appear on the Candidate Display Page once the assessment is completed.
Important Note:
If a candidate uses a VPN during the assessment, the location displayed in the report will reflect the VPN location rather than their actual physical location.
By enabling Location Tracking, you add an extra layer of proctoring to ensure that candidates are taking assessments from approved locations, enhancing the overall security of the test process.
