The Copy-Paste Tracking feature in Testlify allows you to monitor and prevent candidates from copying and pasting text during the assessment. This feature is specifically limited to coding questions and helps track if external code is pasted while the candidate is completing a coding task.
Follow these steps to enable and configure this feature:
Access Assessment Settings
When creating or editing an assessment, navigate to the Assessment Settings.
Click on the Proctoring tab.
Enable Copy-Paste Tracking
Set Violation Limits
You have the option to terminate candidates if they violate the Copy-Paste Tracking rule.
To do this, check the Termination option.
Set a violation limit by entering a number (e.g., 5). If a candidate exceeds this limit by copying and pasting more than the allowed times, they will be automatically disqualified from the assessment.
Review Copy-Paste Activity
After the candidate completes the assessment, you can verify the copy-paste activity.
Go to the Candidate Display Page (CDP) and scroll down to the Trust Insights section.
Here, you can check whether the candidate violated the Copy-Paste Tracking feature.
This feature ensures the integrity of your assessments by discouraging candidates from seeking outside help while completing the coding test.
