At Testlify, our commitment goes beyond providing stellar support and service to our clients; we also aim to deliver an exceptional experience to all candidates invited to take assessments on our platform. To ensure candidates feel confident and informed before taking an assessment, we have introduced a Practice Assessment feature.

What is Practice Assessment?

The Practice Assessment is a preparatory tool that allows candidates to attempt a range of sample questions before taking the actual assessment. This practice run helps familiarize candidates with the question formats and what to expect, boosting their confidence and reducing test anxiety.

Please Note: The option to take the 'practice assessment' is given to candidates only when Employer enables this feature in the assessment settings.

Content of the Practice Assessment

The practice assessment includes a variety of question types that are typically part of any assessment, such as:

  • Single Select

  • Multiple Select

  • Choice Answer

  • Fill in the Blank

  • Short Answer

  • Open-Ended

  • Rating

  • Number

  • Date

  • Ranking

  • Typing Test

These question types cover a broad spectrum, ensuring candidates are well-prepared for the actual assessment.

How to Access the Practice Assessment?

Candidates will receive a link to the practice assessment in their invitation email. Upon clicking the link, they will be directed to an instructions page, which clearly states that the purpose of the practice assessment is to help them become familiar with the question types before taking the actual assessment.

Features of the Practice Assessment

  • Mimics the Actual Assessment: The practice assessment closely resembles the actual assessment. Candidates will need to read the questions and select their answers as they would in the real test.

  • Non-Scored: The practice assessment is not scored. Its sole purpose is to prepare candidates, allowing them to focus on understanding the question formats without the pressure of scoring.

  • Seamless Transition: After completing the practice assessment, candidates will be guided to return to their invitation email to proceed with the actual assessment.

Need Help or Have Feedback?

If candidates have any feedback or queries related to the practice assessment, they can reach out to our support team at [email protected]. We're always happy to clarify or address any concerns to ensure the best possible experience.
