In Testlify, we have a default Grading which has been established based on industry standards. You can view and customize test grading from the assessment settings.

Follow these steps to access and modify the grading system for your assessments:

Navigate to Assessments

  • Go to the Assessments section in your Testlify dashboard.

  • Select the assessment you want to edit and click on "Edit."

Access the Grading Settings

  • Within the assessment settings, go to the "Settings" section.

  • Select the "Grading" tab. Here, you will find the default grading system set by Testlify, which includes the following categories: Not Suitable, Beginner, Intermediate, Experienced, Expert, Proficient.

The Grading System

  • Click on the three dots next to the score name you wish to edit.

  • Select "Edit." You can now adjust the grade by setting the Minimum and Maximum percentage for that grade.

  • Additionally, you can change the score name that appears for the candidate and select a color to represent the grade visually.

Assessment Detail Page

Grading is also displayed in the ADP or Assessment Detail Page under each specific assessment.

You can also use the 'Grading' filter to select candidates based on a specific grade as seen below.

It is also indicated in each candidate's individual report.

Customizing the grading system helps you align assessments with your hiring needs and gives additional insights into candidate performance, aiding you in your evaluation process and make better hiring decisions.
