How to Filter Candidates by Country

Overview

Testlify allows you to filter candidates by country directly from the Candidates tab. This makes it easier to find candidates based on their detected country and manage your candidate list more efficiently.

How to Use the Country Filter

1. Navigate to the Candidates tab in your Testlify workspace.
2. Click the Add (+) icon next to the available filters.
3. Select Country from the list to enable the country filter.
4. Choose the required country from the dropdown.
5. The candidate list will update to show candidates associated with the selected country.

You can use this filter to narrow down your candidate list and quickly find candidates from a specific country.

Important: Proctoring Settings Required

For the country filter to work as expected, make sure the following settings are enabled when creating or configuring your assessment:

• IP Proctoring
• Location Tracker under Proctoring Settings

These settings help Testlify determine the candidate’s location for country-based filtering.

Important Note About Location Accuracy

A candidate’s detected country may not always be accurate. For example, if a candidate uses a VPN to change or mask their location, the detected country may differ from their actual location.
