How to Revoke Candidate Invite

If you have invited a candidate to take an assessment and need to revoke the invitation, you can revoke the candidate's invite directly from the assessment.

⚠ Important: The "Revoke invite" option is available only for candidates with the "Invited" status. It cannot be used for candidates whose status is "In progress" or "Completed."

Steps to Revoke a Candidate Invite

Step 1: Navigate to the Assessments section

Log in to your Testlify account and click Assessments from the top navigation bar. This will take you to the list of assessments available in your account.

Step 2: Select the relevant assessment

From the Assessments section, locate the assessment for which you want to revoke a candidate's invitation. Click the arrow (>) on the right side of the relevant assessment to open it.

Step 3: Locate the invited candidate

Once you are inside the assessment, scroll down to the “All candidates” section. Here, you can view the list of candidates associated with the assessment, including candidates who have been invited, are currently taking the assessment, or have completed it.

⚠ Important: The "Revoke invite" option will only apply to a candidate whose status is "Invited". You cannot revoke the invite for a candidate whose status is "In progress" or "Completed".

Locate the candidate with the “Invited” status and click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of the candidate's row. From the available options, click Revoke invite.

Step 4: Confirm the revocation

After you click Revoke invite, a Revoke candidate invite confirmation window will appear. The confirmation window will ask you to confirm that you want to revoke the invitation for the selected candidate. Click Confirm to proceed with revoking the invitation.

Step 5: Verify the invite has been revoked

Once you click Confirm, the candidate's invitation will be revoked. To verify that the action was successful, check the candidate's Status in the All candidates section. The candidate's status will now be displayed as “Revoked.”

Important Notes

· The Revoke invite option is available only for candidates with the “Invited” status.

· You cannot revoke an invitation for candidates with “In progress” or “Completed” status.

· After revoking the invitation, check the candidate’s Status to confirm that it shows “Revoked”.

Assessments → Select Assessment → All candidates → Three-dot menu → Revoke invite → Confirm → Verify “Revoked” status.
