Customizing Cultural Fit: Weightage-Based Scoring
Introduction to Weightage-Based Scoring
Testlify now allows you to customize how Cultural Fit scores are calculated by setting an Ideal Profile. This feature enables you to prioritize specific traits that are most critical to your organization's unique culture. Similar to our PicOcean Personality Test scoring, you can now define the "ideal range" for various attributes, ensuring that your candidates are evaluated against your specific hiring standards rather than a generic benchmark.By applying custom weightage, you gain a more nuanced understanding of a candidate's alignment with your company values and professional expectations. How to Set an Ideal Profile
You can configure the ideal profile during the assessment creation process. This allows you to tailor the evaluation criteria before inviting candidates.1. Select the Cultural Fit Test
While setting up your assessment in the Tests section, add a Cultural Fit test from the library. Once added, click on the three-dot menu icon next to the test name and select Set ideal profile.
2. Configure Trait Weightage
A modal will appear, allowing you to adjust the influence of three primary traits on the final score. By default, all impact values are set to a broad range (0-100%), but you can refine these using the sliders:
| Main Trait | Description |
|---|---|
| Core Values | Evaluates fundamental principles such as integrity, collaboration, and accountability. |
| Response Consistency | Measures how reliably a candidate responds to similar questions throughout the test. |
| Professional Attributes | Assesses workplace-specific behaviors like leadership, communication, and stress management. |
3. Save Your Preferences
After adjusting the sliders to reflect your desired impact levels, click Set weights. These settings will be used to generate the "Ideal Range" against which all candidates for this assessment will be compared.Understanding the Traits and Sub-skills
The Cultural Fit assessment evaluates a wide array of sub-skills categorized under the three main traits. This granularity helps you identify exactly where a candidate excels or may require further development.Core Values
