Assessment Launch Failure – Candidate Troubleshooting Guide

If you're unable to launch your assessment, don't worry. In most cases, the issue can be resolved by following the troubleshooting steps below.

1. Refresh the Assessment Page

Sometimes a temporary loading issue can prevent the assessment from launching.

  • Refresh the page once.
  • Wait a few moments for the assessment to load.

2. Use Google Chrome

For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome.

If you're using another browser, please switch to Chrome and try again.

3. Check Your Internet Connection

A slow or unstable internet connection can prevent the assessment from loading.

  • Ensure you're connected to a stable network.
  • Avoid using public Wi-Fi whenever possible.

4. Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies

Cached browser data may interfere with launching the assessment.

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  2. Close your browser completely.
  3. Reopen the browser and try launching the assessment again.

5. Open the Assessment in an Incognito Window

Sometimes browser extensions or saved cookies can interfere with the assessment.

Open the assessment link in an Incognito/Private browsing window and try again.

6. Disable VPNs and Browser Extensions

If you're using:

  • A VPN
  • Ad blockers
  • Privacy extensions
  • Script blockers

Please disable them temporarily and relaunch the assessment.

7. Restart Your Computer

If the issue persists, restart your device and try accessing the assessment again.

8. Verify Date and Time Settings

Ensure your computer's date and time are set correctly. Incorrect system time can sometimes affect authentication and secure connections.

9. Check Camera and Microphone Permissions (If Required)

If your assessment uses proctoring or video questions:

  • Allow Camera access.
  • Allow Microphone access.
  • Refresh the assessment after granting permissions.

10. Try a Different Network

If possible, switch to another internet connection (for example, a mobile hotspot) to rule out network-related issues.
