How to Manage and Delete Company-Created Questions in the Question Library
Managing your question library is essential to keep your assessments organized, up-to-date, and free from duplicates. Testlify now allows you to delete and archive questions that were created within your workspace.
🔹 Important Note
- You can only delete questions created within your workspace (company-created questions)
- Testlify’s default library questions cannot be deleted to maintain content integrity
🔹 Accessing the Question Library
- Go to Library from the top navigation bar
- Click on Questions

- Use filters like language or team (e.g., Team Testlify) to narrow down results

🔹 Managing Questions Using the “More” Option
Each question card now includes a “More” (⋯) option.
From the “More” menu, you can:
- View → See full question details
- Archive → Hide the question from active use
- Delete → Permanently remove the question (only for company-created questions)

🔹 How to Delete a Question
- Locate the question in the library
- Click on the (⋯) More option
- Select Delete
- Confirm the action in the popup

⚠️ Important:
- Deleting a question will permanently remove it from your company tests and future assessments
- This action cannot be undone
🔹 Archive Functionality
- Archived questions are not deleted but removed from active use

- You can filter and access archived questions using the Archive filter in the library

- This is useful for:
- Temporarily removing outdated content
- Keeping a backup without cluttering active questions
🔹 Why This Feature Helps
This functionality is especially useful for:
- Removing duplicate questions
- Cleaning up outdated content
- Managing large libraries for long-term or public sector clients
