New Settings & Preset Feature in Company Tests

Overview

We’ve updated the Company Test setup to make test configuration more flexible and structured. Key settings like question shuffle, answer shuffle, and time to complete are now moved under the Settings tab.

What’s New:

Centralised settings

You can now configure the following under Settings while creating a company test:

• Shuffle question order
• Shuffle answer options
• Time to complete test

This keeps all test behavior controls in one place for easier management.

Preset Feature

What is a Preset?

A Preset allows you to define how many questions should be picked from different skill categories, making it easier to standardize test structures.

How to Create a Preset

1. Go to Settings → Presets
2. Click on Add Preset
3. Enter a Preset Name
4. Select Question count for candidates (e.g., based on skills)
5. Choose the categories/skills
6. Set the number of questions per category
7. Click Save

How It Works

• The system will randomly select questions from the pool based on the preset configuration
• Each candidate may receive a different set of questions, depending on the defined counts

Using Presets in Assessments

Once created, the preset can be:

• Applied while adding the company test to an assessment
• Controlled from assessment settings for consistent test structure across candidates
