Accessibility Option Feature
The Accessibility feature in Testlify is designed to enhance system usability for candidates with special needs, such as those requiring screen reader support or visual assistance. This ensures every candidate can take assessments comfortably and fairly.
Where to Find It
You can enable this option from your workspace under:
Assessment Settings → Configuration Tab → Accessibility options

Once this feature is turned on, candidates will automatically have access to the Accessibility icon on the Assessment Start Page (Instructions Page) located at the bottom-left corner of the screen (human-shaped icon).

How It Works for Candidates
When candidates click on the accessibility icon, an Accessibility Menu opens, giving them tools and adjustments to improve their test-taking experience.
Below is an example of what the menu looks like:

Accessibility Options Available
The menu provides several options to assist candidates with diverse needs, including:
- Screen Reader Support
- Highlight Titles and Links
- Dyslexia-Friendly Font
- Adjust Letter Spacing, Line Height, and Font Weight
- Color Adjustments: Dark Contrast, Light Contrast, High Contrast
- Saturation Controls: High, Low, or Monochrome
- Tools: Reading Guide, Big Cursor, Stop Animation
Why Use It
This feature ensures that candidates who require accessibility tools such as screen readers or visual adjustments can navigate and complete their assessments with ease, without impacting test performance or integrity.
Note
The Accessibility icon will only be visible to candidates if the feature is enabled in the assessment settings by the workspace admin.
