Proctoring Features Not Supported on Mobile Devices

At Testlify, we provide a wide range of proctoring features to help you maintain fairness and integrity during assessments. While most features are supported on both desktop and laptop devices, some advanced monitoring features are not compatible with mobile devices due to technical limitations.

Below is a list of proctoring features that do not work on mobile devices:

Features Not Supported on Mobile

1. Force Full-Screen Mode

  • Ensures candidates attempt the test in full-screen mode.
  • Not available on mobile as apps and browsers cannot enforce full-screen the same way.

2. Tab Proctoring

  • Tracks when candidates switch tabs during the assessment.
  • Not supported on mobile since mobile devices don’t have the same tab-tracking capabilities.

3. Dual Camera Proctoring (Tablet + Phone)

Recommendation

For the best assessment experience and to ensure all proctoring features work as expected, candidates should take assessments on a laptop or desktop with:

  • The latest version of Google Chrome
  • Stable internet connection
  • Working webcam and microphone

✅ With this knowledge, you can configure your proctoring settings according to the device your candidates will be using.
