Snapshot Deletion

Testlify automatically captures snapshots of candidates during proctored assessments to ensure test integrity. These snapshots are stored securely and can be manually deleted by users with the appropriate access.


Note:

Snapshots are stored for 90 days from the date of assessment completion. After this period, they are automatically deleted from our system.



Steps to Delete Proctoring Snapshots:




Open the Candidate's Details Page

  • Navigate to the Candidates tab within your assessment dashboard.
  • Click on the name of the candidate whose proctoring snapshots you wish to review.

Access Proctoring Data

  • On the left-hand side panel, click on Proctoring to expand the section.
  • Then select Snapshots.

3.Delete Snapshot(s)

  • You will see a gallery of all snapshots taken during the assessment.
  • Hover over the snapshot and click the Delete icon.
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted.



Conclusion:

Managing proctoring snapshots allows you to maintain control over candidate data and ensure compliance with your internal policies. While Testlify retains these images for 90 days by default, you can manually remove snapshot at your discretion. Please note that this action is permanent.
