Using the “AI Context” Feature for Auto-Scoring in Long Answer, Video, and Voice Questions

✨ Introducing AI Context in Testlify

Testlify has introduced a new feature called AI Context. This feature is designed to improve how the system automatically scores answers for certain types of questions, specifically Long Answer, Video, and Voice AI questions. Essentially, you can now provide an example of the perfect answer, which the AI will use as a reference to more accurately judge and score the candidates’ responses.

🔍 What is AI Context?

AI Context is a special text box that appears when you create or edit Long Answer, Video, or Voice AI questions. In this box, you write out the ideal answer the perfect response you expect from candidates. The AI then uses this ideal answer as a guide to compare and evaluate the responses it receives, helping it score those answers automatically.

🧠 How AI Context Works

1. Enable Auto Score using AI

   When you set up a Long Answer, Video, or Voice AI question, there is an option called "Auto score using AI." You need to check this box to turn on the AI-powered scoring feature.

2. Add AI Context (Ideal Answer)

   Once you enable auto scoring, a new field called “AI Context” will appear. Here, you enter the ideal answer the benchmark or model answer. The AI uses this ideal answer as a standard to evaluate and score the responses submitted by candidates.

🎥 Media Restrictions

You cannot upload images, videos, or audio files as part of the AI Context field. This field only accepts text-based content. So, your ideal answer must be written in text form.

⚠️ Important Notes

• If you do not check the “Auto score using AI” option, the AI Context you enter will be ignored and won't affect scoring.
• The AI Context scoring works separately from any traditional scoring methods you might use. It does not replace manual or other scoring criteria unless enabled.
• At this time, any AI scoring results or changes will not be visible on the Candidate Display Page (where candidates see their results), shareable links, or on reports.
