How to Integrate Testlify with Teamtailor

This help article guides you through the process of integrating Testlify with Teamtailor. By following these steps, you can set up an automated system for inviting candidates to assessments directly through Teamtailor.


Step 1: Start Testlify Integration on Teamtailor

  1. Navigate to Testlify Workspace and click on settings icon.

  1. Click on the Generate key button and Copy API Key to copy your integration key.



  1. Navigate to your Teamtailor Account. Click on your Company Name and select Marketplace.

  1. Search for Testlify in the marketplace and select the “Testlify” listing. Click on the Activate button to enable Testlify for your Account.

  1. Paste the API key which you copied earlier in the box and click on Validate Credentials. 


Step 2: Setup Assessment Level Integration

  1. (Optional) Edit your Job on Teamtailor to add new Stages for Invite and completion.

  1. Add Teslify’s Assessment as a trigger on the desired stage. We are using the Testlify Invite stage to create Trigger. Any candidate moved to this stage will receive an assessment via Testlify. 

  1. Select the Assessment which you would like to be sent. Additionally, you may configure Move candidates when complete based on your criteria.

  1. Click on the Add Trigger button to save your changes.




Step 3: Invite Candidates to Assessment

  1. Move a candidate to the Testlify Invite stage to trigger the assessment. The status will be shown as Sent once the candidate has been invited for the assessment via Testlify.

  1. Once the candidate completes the assessment, the assessment results will be available on Teamtailor.
