Create Your Testlify Account
Testlify is an online talent assessment platform that helps employers evaluate candidates objectively and at scale. Setting up your account takes only a few minutes — sign up, confirm your email, and start building assessments right away.
Before you begin
- You need a work email address on a company domain — for example, yourname@yourcompany.com. Testlify does not accept personal email providers such as Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail, or AOL, nor education-based addresses ending in .edu or .ac. If you need help obtaining a business email, contact support@testlify.com.
- No password is needed. Testlify uses a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered work email each time you sign in, making it easy and secure to share a workspace with colleagues.
Create your account
Go to the registration page from either entry point on the Testlify website:
- Click Try for Free in the top-right corner of any Testlify page.
- Click 7-day free trial on the Pricing page.
Both links open the same registration form. Follow these steps:
- Choose your sign-up method. Enter your first name, last name, and work email address — or sign up instantly with your Google or LinkedIn account. Testlify's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply automatically; there are no extra boxes to check.
- Enter the verification code. Check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code from Testlify and enter it on the next screen.
- Access your workspace. Once you confirm the code, your new Testlify workspace is created and ready to use.
Tip: Your 7-day free trial gives you full access to all platform features at no cost. When the trial ends, upgrade at any time from Settings > Billing.
Verify your email address
- After signing up, check your inbox for a verification email from Testlify — it arrives within a few minutes.
- Click the link in the email to complete verification. Until you verify, you cannot log back in to your account.
Once verified, use the OTP sent to your email to sign in each time — no password required.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a personal email address to register?
No. Testlify requires a business domain email address. Personal providers — Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL, and similar — are not accepted. Education-based addresses ending in .edu or .ac are also not supported. Contact support@testlify.com if your company does not yet have a business email.
Can candidates create an account on Testlify?
No. Candidates do not need a Testlify account. Create an assessment and either invite specific candidates by email or share a public link for open applications. Candidates click the link and go directly to the test — no sign-up required. If a candidate gets stuck on the login page, they can paste the test link directly into their browser to access the assessment.
What should I do if I don't receive the verification email?
Check your Spam or Junk folder first — the email may have been filtered there. If you find it, mark it as Not Spam so future Testlify emails reach your inbox. If it is not in spam, ask your network administrator to whitelist the Testlify sending domain. Still having trouble? Contact support@testlify.com.
