Legacy Plan: What to Expect and How to Upgrade

What is a legacy plan?

A legacy plan is a subscription plan that Testlify no longer offers to new customers. If your account is on a legacy plan, a notification banner appears at the top of your Plans page:

Testlify limits plan price changes to no more than once every two years per account, keeping changes transparent and predictable.

Why plans are updated

Testlify periodically revises its plans to:

  • Invest in new features and product improvements
  • Maintain fairness between new and existing customers
  • Deliver a consistent platform experience for all accounts

What to expect when your plan transitions

When your account is scheduled for a plan transition, the workspace account Owner receives an email notification with:

  • A side-by-side comparison of your current plan and the new plan
  • Available options to ease the transition
  • The effective date of the change

Your account migrates automatically on the effective date — no action is required if you prefer to wait.

How to upgrade to a new plan early

Legacy plans may not include Testlify's latest features. Your workspace account Owner can switch to a current plan at any time:

  1. Go to Workspace Settings.
  2. Click Manage Subscription.
  3. Select the plan that best fits your team's needs and confirm the upgrade.

Tip: Upgrading early gives your team immediate access to the latest features without waiting for the automatic migration date.
