How to Integrate Manatal with Testlify

Connect Manatal with Testlify to automatically sync candidates and assessment results between the two platforms. Complete the steps below once to enable the workspace-level connection, then link each assessment individually.

Before you begin

• You need a paid Manatal account to generate an API key.
• You must have admin access on your Testlify workspace.

Step 1: Retrieve Your Manatal API Key

1. Log in to your Manatal account.
2. Go to the Administration section.

3. Under Feature Options, click Manage Features.

4. Click Open API to generate a new token.

5. Copy the generated token — you will paste it into Testlify in the next step.

Step 2: Connect Testlify to Manatal

1. Log in to your Testlify account.
2. Click Settings in the navigation menu.
3. Open the Integration tab.

4. Click the Manatal integration option.

5. Paste your Manatal API key into the field, then click Save.

6. Return to Testlify, paste the token into the API key field, and click Save.

Step 3: Verify the Integration

1. After saving, a confirmation message appears to confirm that Manatal is connected to your Testlify workspace.

2. Return to the Testlify dashboard and refresh the page to confirm the integration is active.

Step 4: Link Manatal to an Assessment

Repeat these steps for each assessment you want to connect to Manatal.

1. Create or open an assessment in Testlify, then go to its Integration tab.

2. Click Connect the Integration.
3. Select Manatal from the ATS drop-down.

4. Select the Job Profile from Manatal (e.g., QA Manager).
5. Set the Invitation Stage — this is the Manatal stage that triggers the assessment invite (e.g., Invited for Interview).
6. Set the Completion Stage — the stage Manatal moves the candidate to after assessment completion (e.g., Hired).
7. Click Link to save the assessment-level connection.
8. Click Save to finalize.

Step 5: Send Assessment Invites via Manatal

1. In Manatal, go to the Jobs section and open the relevant role.

2. Add candidates to the job.
3. Move a candidate to the Invited for Interview stage to trigger the assessment invite automatically.

Tip: Invites are dispatched via an hourly scheduled job — candidates receive their invitation within one hour of the stage change.

Step 6: Review Assessment Results

1. Once a candidate completes the assessment, Testlify syncs their score to Manatal automatically.
2. In Manatal, open the Interview stage for that candidate.
3. Refresh the page to see the score in the Notes section.
4. Click Report Video to download a PDF of the full assessment report.
