How to Review Questions and Answers in Your Assessments

Use this guide to review the questions and answers in any assessment — verify question accuracy, check scoring, and spot ambiguous items before real candidates attempt them.

Before you begin

• You must have an existing assessment in your Testlify account.
• You need at least one available candidate slot to invite yourself.
• Note: Question and answer review is not available for psychometric tests. Psychometric tests produce a detailed report on personality traits, cognitive abilities, and behavioral insights instead.

Step 1: Take the assessment as a candidate

1. Log in to your Testlify account and open the assessment you want to preview.
2. Click Invite Candidate and enter your own email address to send yourself an invitation.
3. Open the invitation email, complete the assessment, and submit your responses.

Step 2: Open your result

1. Return to the assessment dashboard and go to the All Candidates section.
   
2. Click your entry in the candidate list to open your result.

Step 3: Review questions and answers

1. Scroll past the scoring section and click Show Questions to expand the full question list.
   
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to any question to see the correct answer alongside your selected answer.
   

Tip: Always preview your assessment before inviting real candidates. Catching a misconfigured answer or an ambiguous question early ensures a fair, accurate experience for everyone.
