How to Create an Assessment and Add Tests
This guide walks you through creating a new assessment and adding tests to it in Testlify.
Before you begin
- You must be logged in to your Testlify account.
- Your account must have permission to create assessments.
Step 1: Create a new assessment
- From your dashboard, click Create Assessment.

- Select the job role and enter an assessment name.
- Click Next to open the test library.

Step 2: Select tests from the library
- Browse the available ready-made tests in the test library.
- Click Add next to any test to include it in your assessment. Selected tests appear in your cart.

Step 3: Customize a test (optional)
- Click the three dots (⋮) next to a test in your cart.
- Select Edit.

- Adjust the question count and time limit as needed.
- Click Save to apply your changes.

Step 4: Preview sample questions (optional)
- Click the three dots (⋮) next to a test.
- Select View Sample Questions.
- You are redirected to a page where you can preview the test questions.
