How to Filter Candidates by Hiring Stage in Testlify

Testlify lets you filter candidates by hiring stage — Shortlisted, Interviewed, or Hired — so you can instantly focus on the right group and keep your pipeline moving.

Before you begin

Make sure you have at least one active assessment with candidates in your workspace.

Filter candidates by hiring stage

1. Log in to your Testlify account.
2. Open the Assessment you want to manage.
3. Scroll down to the Candidates list. You will see each candidate's current stage — for example, Invited or Assessment Completed.

   

4. Click the edit icon next to a candidate's stage, then select the new stage — for example, Shortlisted or Hired.

   

   

5. Use the Stage Filter to display only candidates in a specific stage. The filter also shows a count per stage, helping you track progress at a glance.

   

Tip: Apply the Hired filter after updating candidate stages to review your final selections side by side before sending offer letters.
