Understanding Candidate Status Logs in Testlify
Overview
Testlify tracks each candidate's assessment progress through status logs. Use these statuses to monitor where every candidate stands at a glance from your employer dashboard.
Candidate Statuses

Invited
The candidate received an assessment invitation by email or via a shareable link. They have not yet enrolled.

Enrolled
The candidate opened the invite, filled in their personal details (name, phone number, etc.), and started the assessment.

In Progress
The candidate is actively answering questions in the assessment.

Completed
The candidate answered all questions and submitted their responses.

Result Sent (by email)
Testlify emailed the assessment results to the candidate successfully.

Disqualified
The candidate was removed from the assessment due to a proctoring violation (e.g., switching browser tabs, unauthorized behavior) or failing a qualifying question set by the test administrator.

Expired
The candidate's invitation link passed its validity period without being completed. The validity period is configured by the test administrator.
Tip
If a candidate remains in Invited status longer than expected, resend the invitation or verify the email address on file.
