How to Activate or Deactivate a User in Your Workspace
Use the Users settings to control who can access your Testlify workspace. You can deactivate a user to revoke their access immediately, or reactivate them at any time — no data is lost either way.
Before you begin
Users must be invited to your workspace before you can manage their active status. See How to Invite Users to Your Workspace for step-by-step instructions.
How to deactivate a user
-
Click Settings in the workspace navigation.

-
Select Users from the menu.

-
Find the user you want to deactivate and click the three-dot menu next to their name.

-
Select Deactivate and confirm.

The user is immediately locked out and can no longer log in or access the workspace. Their data and activity history are fully preserved.
How to reactivate a user
- Go to Settings > Users.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the deactivated user's name.
- Select Activate and confirm.
Tip: Reactivating a user restores their previous role and permissions automatically. If their role has changed since deactivation, update it after reactivation.
