Share a Candidate Report Using a Sharable Link

Testlify's Sharable Link feature lets you share a candidate's assessment report with hiring managers or colleagues — no Testlify account required. Use this guide to generate a link, control what it displays, and revoke access when needed.

Before you begin

  • You must have Employer access to the workspace.
  • The candidate must have already submitted their assessment.

Share a Candidate Report

  1. Log in to your workspace at app.testlify.com.

  2. Select the assessment where the candidate completed their test.

  3. Open the candidate's report by clicking their name.

  4. In the top-right corner, click the three-dot menu.

  5. Select Sharable Link from the dropdown.

  6. Click Generate Link to create the sharable link.

  7. Click Copy Link, then share it with anyone who needs to review the report.

Tip: Anyone with the link can view the report without a Testlify account. Only one active link exists per report — generating a new link automatically invalidates the previous one.

Customize What the Report Displays

Control which details appear in the shared report by updating the assessment's report settings:

  1. Go to Assessment Settings for the relevant assessment.

  2. Click the Reports tab.

  3. Select the details to include — such as scores, feedback, or other key metrics.
  4. Click Save.

The sharable link will reflect only the details you selected.

Revoke Access to a Shared Report

  1. Return to the candidate's report, open the three-dot menu, and select Sharable Link.
  2. Click Delete Link.

The link becomes inaccessible immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can anyone view the report without a Testlify account? Yes — no login required for anyone with the link.
  • Can I have multiple active links for the same report? No. Only one link is active at a time; generating a new one deactivates the previous link.
  • How do I block access after sharing? Click Delete Link in the Sharable Link panel. Access is revoked immediately.
  • Can I control what the reviewer sees? Yes. Go to Assessment Settings > Reports and choose which details appear.
