How to Use Workspace Analytics

Overview

The Analytics tab in Testlify gives you a bird's-eye view of all assessment and hiring activity in your workspace. Track key metrics — assessments created, candidates invited, and their progress — through charts and detailed reports.

Use the Assessment and Date filters at the top to narrow results to a specific assessment or time frame.

1. Invitation Status

The Invitation Status chart shows a breakdown of candidate invitation progress across key statuses: Completed, In Progress, Enrolled, Rejected, and others. This lets you quickly see where candidates stand in your hiring pipeline.

Filter by date range or assessment type to monitor outreach effectiveness and track candidate progression over time.

2. Invites Per Workspace User

The Invites Per Workspace User chart shows how many invites each team member has sent. Use this to see whether invitation activity is evenly distributed — or concentrated among a few recruiters.

3. Daily Invites

The Daily Invites chart shows how many candidates were invited each day, helping you spot trends or spikes in recruitment activity.

  • Invited: The total number of candidates invited to take an assessment.
  • Completed: The number of candidates who finished the assessment. Track this figure to gauge engagement and completion rates.

4. Assessment Level Report

The Assessment Level Report shows each candidate's performance across assessments. Key fields include:

  • Name: The candidate's full name.
  • Email: The email address used by the candidate.
  • Assessment Name: The title of the assessment taken.
  • Total Score: The candidate's actual score.
  • Out Of: The maximum possible score.
  • Percentage: The score as a percentage.

Use this report to compare performance across assessments and review outcomes for both practice and live tests.

5. Test Level Report

The Test Level Report breaks down each candidate's score by individual test. Fields include:

  • Name: The candidate's full name.
  • Email: The candidate's email address.
  • Test: The specific test taken (e.g., Copywriter, SEO Copywriting).
  • Total: The score achieved.
  • Out Of: The maximum possible score.
  • Percentage: The calculated percentage.

Use this report to compare candidates across multiple tests and identify skill strengths or gaps.

6. User Rating

The User Rating section displays ratings given by internal users — recruiters or reviewers — for specific roles or assessments. Use this to gauge how your team perceives candidate quality and maintain consistent evaluation standards.

7. Assessment vs Invitation Status

The Assessment vs Invitation Status chart compares candidate progress across all assessments side by side. For each assessment, you can see the count of candidates in each status: Completed, In Progress, Invited, Rejected, or Disqualified.

Use this to identify which assessments are most active and which may need follow-up. Download the detailed report in CSV, Excel, or JSON format for further analysis.

8. Assessment Creation

The Assessment Creation section shows the total number of assessments created in your workspace:

  • Created: Assessments set up with no candidate activity yet.
  • Invited: Assessments where candidates have been invited or have participated.

This helps you distinguish active assessments from those still in draft or setup mode. Download this data in CSV, Excel, or JSON format for recordkeeping.

9. Subscription-wise Credit Report

The Subscription-wise Credit Report gives you full visibility into your workspace's credit usage. It displays:

  • Total credits utilized: Credits consumed for candidate invitations.
  • Remaining credits: Credits available for future invitations.
  • Main balance: Combined credits across all linked workspaces in your subscription pool.

Tip: Admins can also check the overall subscription balance under Manage Workspace to monitor credit availability across all workspaces at once.

10. Candidate Feedback Report

The Candidate Feedback Report collects feedback submitted by candidates after completing assessments. It includes:

  • Candidate feedback ratings
  • Written comments or remarks
  • Completion timestamps

Use this report to evaluate the candidate experience and make data-driven improvements to your assessments.

Summary

The Analytics tab provides comprehensive insight into your hiring activity — from assessments created and candidate progress to invitation trends and subscription credit usage. Filter and download any report at any time to make informed, data-driven hiring decisions.
