How to Restrict Email Domains for Assessment Invites
The Domain Restriction feature lets administrators block specific email domains from receiving assessment invites. Use it to exclude public email providers (like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook) or targeted corporate domains, ensuring your invitation process stays secure and controlled.
Before you begin
You need administrator-level access to your Testlify workspace and an existing assessment to configure.
Step 1: Open Domain Restriction settings
- Log in to your Testlify account.
- Navigate to the assessment you want to manage.

- Click the Settings tab, then select Access settings.

- Scroll to the Domain Restriction section.
Step 2: Add restricted domains
- Choose whether to allow or disallow specific domains using the provided options.

- Click Add and enter each domain you want to restrict. For example:
- To block public email providers:
gmail.com,yahoo.com,outlook.com - To block a specific company:
example.com
- To block public email providers:
- Save your changes to activate the restrictions.

How it works when sending invites
Once restrictions are active, Testlify automatically blocks invites to any restricted domain. If you try to invite a candidate at a blocked address, a pop-up message appears on screen informing you of the restriction.

Tip: Review your domain list periodically to keep it aligned with your current hiring policy, especially after organizational changes.
