Set Up the Loxo Integration

Before you begin

Before connecting Loxo to Testlify, make sure you have:

• Admin access to your Testlify account
• Admin access to your Loxo account

Step 1: Enable the Loxo integration in Testlify

1. In Testlify, go to Settings > Integrations.

   

   

2. Find and select Loxo from the integrations list.
3. A new tab opens asking for your Agency Slug and API Key. Keep this tab open — you will copy both values from Loxo in the next step.

   

Step 2: Get your API Key and Agency Slug from Loxo

Retrieve your API Key

1. Log in to your Loxo account.
2. In the left sidebar, click Jobs.

   

3. In the bottom-left corner, click your Profile.

   

4. Select Settings.

   

5. Scroll down to the API Key section.

   

6. Click Add to generate a new API Key.

   

7. Copy the generated API Key.

   

Find your Agency Slug

1. In your Loxo profile, select Careers Page.

   

2. Your Agency Slug is the segment of your Loxo URL that comes after app.loxo.co/. For example, in https://app.loxo.co/testlify, the Agency Slug is testlify.

   

Step 3: Complete the connection in Testlify

1. Return to the Testlify integration tab.
2. Enter your API Key and Agency Slug.
3. Click Save.

   

4. A confirmation message confirms: Loxo is connected successfully.

   

5. Click Continue, then refresh the Integrations page. Loxo now shows as Added and Active.

   

Step 4: Link Loxo to an assessment

1. In Testlify, click Create Assessment.

   

2. Choose a job role and click Next.

   

3. Add a test from the Test Library, then click Next.

   

4. In Assessment Settings, open the Integration module.

   

   

   

5. Click Link to open integration options.
6. Set ATS to Loxo.

   

7. Select a Job Profile from the dropdown — this lists your published Loxo jobs.

   

8. Configure the pipeline stages:
   • Invitation Stage — the stage that automatically sends the assessment invite (e.g., Meeting)
   • Completion Stage — the stage candidates move to after finishing (e.g., Hiring)

   

9. Click Link to save.

   

Step 5: Send assessments to candidates through Loxo

1. In Loxo, open the published job you linked (e.g., Software Engineer).

   

2. Drag the candidate card to the Interviewing stage.

   

3. The candidate receives an assessment invitation by email automatically.
4. After the candidate completes the assessment, their score appears in the Intake Section in Loxo.

Tip: Assessment invitations are delivered within 15 minutes of moving a candidate to the invitation stage. If no email arrives after 15 minutes, verify that the correct pipeline stage is mapped to the Invitation Stage in your assessment settings.
