Adding a welcome video to your Testlify assessment is a great way to engage candidates from the start. This guide provides a step-by-step process to help you seamlessly upload a welcome video, ensuring a warm and informative introduction for your candidates.

Visit Testlify and log in using your email ID and OTP.

Navigate to the "Assessments" tab on the dashboard.

Select an assessment." Then, click on the three dots next to the assessment you wish to edit and select "Edit."

In the assessment editor, you will find four options. Click on the fourth option, "Settings."

In the settings menu, click on "Welcome Video."

Below the "Assessment Instructions," this is optional, but you can add instructions here if needed. You will find the "Welcome Video Source" option. Click on it to reveal two dropdowns: "Video URL" and "Upload Video."

If you select "Video URL," an input field will appear where you can enter the URL of your video. We currently support URLs from YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, Wistia, or Vidyard. Once entered, click "Save." The video will be shown to the candidate before the start of the assessment.

If you select "Upload Video," an upload option will appear. Choose the video file from your device and click "Save." The uploaded video will be shown to the candidate before the start of the assessment.
