Mapping Testlify assessments to Lever job postings

Testlify uses tags on the Lever job posting to map the assessment. The tag assigns which assessment to send the candidate and at which stage. Use the following syntax for creating the assessment tags:

  • Testlify:<stage-name>:<assessment name>

For example, if you would like to send Testlfy’s assessment, "Backend Developer" to the candidate when they reach the stage "On-site interview" in Lever, then the tag would be assigned as follows:

  • Testlify:On-site Interview:Backend Developer

Important:

  • The first value of the tag should be "Testlify" only. This value signifies that this tag is meant to be consumed by Testlify.

  • The stage you specify in the tag should be a valid stage in the Jobs interview plan on Lever.

  • The assessment you specify in the tag should be a valid assessment created in your Testlify dashboard which you linked with Lever.

Using the Testlify integration

  • In Lever, associate the candidate's opportunity to a job posting

  • Move the candidate to the trigger stage specified in the Testlify tag attached to the job posting

Reviewing assessment results

After the candidate completes the assessment, Testlify will update the note on the application with the assessment result. The note will also contain a link to view the result in PDF format.
