This guide walks you through the steps to integrate Manatal with Testlify, allowing you to streamline your recruitment process by syncing candidate information and assessment results between the two platforms.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Logging into Testlify

  1. Log into the Testlify Platform: Start by logging into your Testlify account.

  2. Navigate to Settings: Once logged in, go to the settings menu.

  3. Access the Integration Tab: In the settings, click on the ‘Integration’ tab.

Step 2: Manatal Integration Setup

  1. Select Manatal Integration: Click on the Manatal integration option within the Integration tab.

2. Enter API Key: You will be redirected to a new page where you need to enter your Manatal API key.

  • Note: Ensure you have a paid Manatal account to obtain the API key.

3. Retrieve API Key from Manatal:

  • Log into your Manatal account.

  • Go to the ‘Administration’ section

  • Navigate to ‘Manage Features’ under the ‘Feature Options’.

  • Click on ‘Open API’ to generate a new token.

  • Copy the newly generated token.

4. Save the API Key in Testlify: Return to Testlify and paste the copied API key in the designated field, then click ‘Save’.

Step 3: Verifying Integration

  1. Confirmation: After saving, you will see a confirmation message indicating that Manatal is now connected to your Testlify workspace.

  2. Refresh Page: Go back to the Testlify dashboard and refresh the page to verify the integration status.

Step 4: Assessment Level Integration

  1. Create a New Assessment:

    • Follow the steps to add the necessary details for the assessment.

  2. Link Integration:

    • In the assessment settings, go to the ‘Integration’ tab.

    • Click on the link to connect the integration.

    • Select ‘Manatal’ from the ATS drop-down menu.

    • Select the job profile from Manatal (e.g., QA Manager) in the job profile drop-down menu.

  3. Set Stages:

    • Set the invitation stage (e.g., ‘Invited for Interview’).

    • Set the completion stage (e.g., ‘Hired’).

    • Click on ‘Link’ to complete the integration at the assessment level.

  4. Save Settings: Click ‘Save’ to finalize the integration settings for the assessment.


Step 5: Managing Candidates in Manatal

  1. Search for Jobs:

    • Go to the ‘Jobs’ section in your Manatal account.

    • Search for the job role (e.g., QA Manager).

  2. Add Candidates:

    • Add new candidates to the job role.

    • Move the candidate to the ‘Invited for Interview’ stage to trigger an invite.

Step 6: Running Cron Job

  1. Cron Job Execution:

    • The cron job will execute every hour.

    • The candidate will receive the invite within an hour.

Step 7: Viewing Results

  1. Complete the Assessment:

    • Candidates complete the assessment on the Testlify platform.

    • The assessment score will be available on both Testlify and Manatal platforms.



  2. Check Scores in Manatal:

    • Go to the ‘Interview’ stage in Manatal.

    • Refresh the page to see the candidate’s score in the notes section.

    • Click on ‘Report Video’ to download a PDF of the assessment results.
