Testlify is currently one of the best online platforms to make hiring more straightforward and less hectic for employers. And all of this starts with creating an account on the platform. This is an austere process, and this article will guide you through the procedure step-by-step. Once your account is ready, you can start rolling in qualitative assessments for your candidates. How to Create your Account

You can start creating your account from any of the two places mentioned below -

1. Click on the Try for Free button. This button is highlighted in red and is present in the top right corner of all the pages.

2. Click on the 7-day free trial highlighted in red color on the Pricing page.

Clicking on any of the links will take you to the registration page where you can create an account.

Note: Testlify allows you to browse through the website and avail all the platform features for free for a 7-day free trial period. You can choose to upgrade to a paid plan after the trial period, once you are satisfied after having tested the platform, and explored its features.

Here is what’s happening on the first page of the registration mesh

  1. You can start by entering your first name, last name, and your work email address on the first page. Testlify does not ask you to separately check the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy boxes. You can also create an account using your Google address or LinkedIn profile too!

  2. In the next step, you will be asked to enter a 6-digit verification code that will be sent to your work email address that you entered at the beginning.

  3. Enter the verification code, and your new Testlify workspace is created and ready to use!

Verify Email Account

Once you register with Testlify, you can start using all the available resources, but not until you have verified your email account.

You will receive a verification email from Testlify within a few minutes of completing your signup process. Once you receive the mail, just click on the link mentioned in it, and you will be redirected to complete the verification process.

Note: Testlify maintains the highest level of security. And does not ask you to create any password. This makes it easier for you to share a workspace with your colleagues. Whenever you have to log into your account, you have to enter the One Time Password (OTP) that is sent to your registered email address.

After you complete the initial registration process, you will be redirected to the Testlify website, but you will not be allowed to log in again until you have verified your email address.

1. Can I use a personal email address to register with Testlify?

No, you can’t use your personal email address to register with Testlify. This is a platform designed for professionals to optimize their hiring process, and hence we allow sign-ups using email addresses linked with the businesses only.

In other words, you need an email address that belongs to a business and personalized domain. An email address on a domain that provides personal email services like Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL, etc. will not work. If you are associated with any business, you surely would have an email address with a customized domain. If you do not, we are still here to help you! We do not allow registering or signing up with any education-based emails like .edu or .ac as well.

2. Can candidates create an account on the platform?

Candidates do not need to create an account or sign up on Testlify. This platform is only for the HRs who need to sign up and create different assessments for different posts in their organizations. Once they create an assessment, they can either choose the candidates and generate a system mail inviting specific candidates to take the test or develop a public link for a mass of students.

When the employer sends a test link, the candidate will receive it via email and will be notified. Once the candidate clicks on the link provided, they will be taken to the test screen where they can start attending the test. If candidates are not redirected to the test page and get stuck on the login page, they can copy the test link and paste it into the browser to get to access it.

3. What if you do not receive verification mail?

The issue where a lot of people do not receive any verification mail is common. In this case, look for the mail in the Spam folder since it might have ended up there. If you find the verification mail in the spam folder, mark it as Not Spam so that you keep receiving all the regular updates from us.
