How to Integrate Testlify with Loxo

Integrate Testlify with Loxo.

This guide will walk you through the steps to integrate Testlify with Loxo. Once set up, you’ll be able to seamlessly manage assessments directly from your Loxo dashboard.

Step 1: Set Up the Integration in Testlify

  • Go to Testlify

  1. Navigate to Settings and click on Integrations.
    From the list of available integrations, select Loxo.

  • Redirect to Loxo

  • Once you click on Loxo, a new tab will open. You’ll need to enter two details:

    • Agency Slug

    • API Key

    • These details will be obtained from your Loxo account.

      Step 2: Retrieve Integration Details from Loxo
      Log in to Loxo:

    • Use your credentials to log in to the Loxo platform.

    • Access API Key Settings:

    • In the left sidebar go to Jobs

    • Then in the bottom left corner, you will see your Profile

    • Click on the profile and select settings

    • Once You scroll down, select the API Key section

    • Then click on add

    • API Key will be generated, copy the same

  • Add the API Key to your Loxo account

How to obtain the agency Slug

In your profile select the Careers page


The Agency Slug is found in your Loxo URL. For example, if your login URL is https://app.loxo.co/testlify then testlify is your agency Slug.

  • Enter Details in Testlify

  1. Return to the Testlify integration tab.

  2. Enter the API Key and Agency Slug.

  3. Click Save

You should see a message confirming that Loxo is connected successfully.

  • Refresh Integrations List

Click Continue and refresh the Integrations page. Loxo should now appear as Added and Active.

Step 3: Set Up Workspace-Level Integration

  • Create an Assessment:

  1. In Testlify, click on Create Assessment.

  2. Choose any job role and click Next.

  3. Add a test from the Test Library, then click Next.

  • Configure Assessment Settings:

  1. In Assessment Settings, go to the Integration module.

  2. Click the Link to open integration options.

  • Select Integration Details

  1. ATS: Choose Loxo from the dropdown.

  2. Job Profile: You’ll see published jobs from Loxo in this dropdown. Select a job role from the list.

  3. Invitation Stage and Completion Stage: Select appropriate stages (e.g., Meeting for invitation and Hired for completion).

  4. Click the Link to save your assessment with these integration settings.

Step 4: Complete the End-to-End Workflow in Loxo

  • Assign a Candidate:

In Loxo, navigate to the Published Jobs you selected earlier and select one. eg: Software Engineer.

  • Move Candidate to Interviewing Stage:

  1. Drag the candidate under the interviewing Stage

  2. They will automatically receive an assessment invitation through e-mail.

  • Monitor Candidate Completion

  1. Once the candidate completes the assessment, their assessment score will be updated in the Intake Section.

Note: Candidates will receive the invitation within 15 minutes once they are moved to a particular interview stage.
