User Guide: Managing Clipboard Permissions in Your Assessment

Clipboard permissions allow candidates to copy and paste content during assessments when permitted. This guide explains how to manage clipboard permissions to ensure a seamless user experience while maintaining the necessary security and integrity of the assessment process.

Follow these steps to enable clipboard permissions in your browser:

1. Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-left corner.

  2. Select Site Settings.

  3. Scroll down to Permissions and click on Clipboard.

  4. Find the site you are using for the assessment and set the permission to Allow.

2. Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge and click the three-dot menu in the top-left corner.

  2. Go to Permissions for this site.

  3. Scroll down to Clipboard and click it.

  4. Locate the assessment platform and set it to Allow.

3. Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and type about:config in the address bar.

  2. Click on the warning message and proceed.

  3. Search for dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard in the search bar.

  4. Set the value to True by double-clicking it.

4. Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari and go to Preferences.

  2. Select the Websites tab.

  3. Scroll down the left-hand menu to find Clipboard Access.

  4. Select the site and set it to Allow.
