How to Integrate Testlify with Traffit

Learn how to seamlessly integrate Testlify with Traffit to streamline your recruitment process.

This guide will walk you through the steps to integrate Testlify with Traffit. Once set up, you’ll be able to seamlessly manage assessments directly from your Traffit dashboard.

Step 1: Set Up the Integration in Testlify

  1. Go to Testlify:

    • Navigate to Settings and click on Integrations.

    • From the list of available integrations, select Traffit.

  3. Redirect to Traffit:

    • Once you click on Traffit, a new tab will open. You’ll need to enter three details:

      • Client Name

      • Client Secret Key

      • Subdomain

  1. These details will be obtained from your Traffit account.

Step 2: Retrieve Integration Details from Traffit

  1. Log in to Traffit:

    • Use your credentials to log in to the Traffit platform.

  2. Access API Key Settings:

    Go to Settings.


    • In the left sidebar, click on Integration API Key.


    • Click on the Add button to create a new API key.

  4. Enter Required Details:

    • Client Name: Enter a name for reference.

    • Scope Field: Select the following values from the dropdown: employee, recruitment, webhook.

    • Click Save.


  5. Once saved, you’ll see the Client Name and Secret Key displayed.

  6. Obtain the Subdomain:

    • The subdomain is found in your Traffit URL. For example, if your login URL is https://testlify.traffit.com, then testlify is your subdomain.

  8. Enter Details in Testlify:

    • Return to the Testlify integration tab.

    • Enter the Client Name, Client Secret Key, and Subdomain.

    • Click Save.


  9. You should see a message confirming Traffit is connected successfully.

  10. Refresh Integrations List:

    • Click Done and refresh the Integrations page. Traffit should now appear as Added and Active.

Step 3: Set Up Workspace-Level Integration

  1. Create an Assessment:

    • In Testlify, click on Create Assessment.


    • Choose any job role and click Next.


    • Add a test from the Test Library, then click Next.


  2. Configure Assessment Settings:

    • In Assessment Settings, go to the Integration module.


    • Click Link to open integration options.

  4. Select Integration Details:

    • ATS: Choose Traffit from the dropdown.


    • Job Profile: You’ll see published jobs from Traffit in this dropdown. Select a job role from the list.


    • Invitation Stage and Completion Stage: Select appropriate stages (e.g., Meeting for invitation and Hired for completion).


  5. Click Save to save your assessment with these integration settings.

Step 4: Complete the End-to-End Workflow in Traffit

  1. Assign a Candidate:

    • In Traffit, navigate to the Published Job you selected earlier.


    • Click on Assign Candidate and choose a candidate from the list.


  2. Move Candidate to Invitation Stage:

    • Move the candidate to the Meeting stage. They will automatically receive an assessment invitation.

  4. Monitor Candidate Completion:

    • Once the candidate completes the assessment, they will be automatically moved to the Hired stage in Traffit.


    • Their assessment score will be updated in the Hired stage0.
