1. How to Take a Break
You can take a break only between tests within your assessment. Follow these steps:
When prompted, simply close your browser window.
The timer will not run during breaks between tests.
Do not close the browser in the middle of a test, as the timer will continue to count down.
When you're ready to continue, click on go to next test or click the link from your invitation email to resume your assessment.
2. How Long Can You Take a Break?
You can take a break for as long as you need. However, we recommend completing your assessment as soon as possible to avoid missing any deadlines.
If your assessment has a deadline, it will be clearly stated in your invitation email. Make sure to complete all tests before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
Candidates who are in progress when the deadline ends can still finish their current test.
Reminder: If there is no activity for 48 hours, Testlify will send an automated reminder email with the subject "Reminder: Take assessment from Testlify" to help you get back on track.
3. How to Resume Your Assessment
To resume, simply click the link in your original invitation or reminder email.
You will be able to pick up right where you left off, without losing any progress.
4. Can You Resume After a Deadline?
If the assessment deadline has passed, you will not be able to resume. Make sure to manage your time and complete your assessment before the deadline.
Candidates in progress when the deadline ends can still finish their active test.
