Walkthrough of Taking an Assessment on Testlify
Taking an assessment on Testlify is simple and straightforward. This article walks you through each step. You can also watch the video walkthrough below if you'd prefer to see it in action.
Step 1: Access Your Assessment
Open the invitation email from Testlify and click the link or button to go to your assessment. If the link doesn't work, copy and paste the full URL included in the email into your browser instead.
Step 2: Use a Supported Browser
For the best experience, use the latest version of Google Chrome. Other browsers may not support all assessment features correctly.
Step 3: Allow Camera and Microphone Access
When prompted, click Allow to grant camera and microphone permissions. This is required for proctoring and for any video or audio questions in your assessment. If you don't see a prompt, check your browser's site settings to make sure access hasn't been blocked.
Step 4: Navigate the Assessment
- Question palette: shows all questions in your assessment and lets you jump directly to any of them.
- Flag an Issue: use this button if something isn't working correctly or a question seems wrong — it lets our team know without interrupting your test.
- Timer and progress bar: track your remaining time and how many questions you've completed.
Step 5: Submit Your Assessment
Once you've answered all your questions, click Submit to finish. You'll see a confirmation once your assessment has been submitted successfully.
